What’s the craziest thing that you need to do to get a project done? For us, 1 experience stood out more than all others. This story made us stand in awe and cringe at the same time. Luckily, nobody was hurt throughout this whole project.

There was this 1 project that I will not name, where we need to maneuver several 5- meter length wide solid surface to a 2nd story of a building. At the time, several options were weighed in, like manually carrying it up the stairs or cutting it in half. Unfortunately the former is not an option because though the stairway was big and wide, there were other works in progress which makes passing through it not possible.

The second was done for some of the surface that is 6-m wide. And the good thing about solid surface is that the parts can be joined seamlessly, so upon joining the parts, no visible lines were seen.

There’s a third option for the tough that needs to get going: moving the surface via elevator shaft. And that’s what we did. We maneuvered this 5-m wide surface on top of the elevator so we didn’t have to cut the surface at all. Luckily, this process was possible, the move was done smoothly, and everybody was safe during the move.

Sometimes when we think about all the things that we went through, we fell so lucky to be able to experience all of those together. This solution will not present itself had not for Bilionite team’s creativity and teamwork. Moreover, all of this was done safely and everybody is able to gather of these experiences like war stories where we’re able to look back and and laugh.

So, what’s the craziest thing you ever had to do to get a project done?
